Lafayette Woman Claims $100,000 Winfall Top Prize

Delanna Menard of Church Point is feeling blessed after winning a $100,000 top prize from the Louisiana Lottery's $100,000 Winfall scratch-off game.
"It feels amazing to win," shared Menard, age 38, when she and her husband claimed the prize at the Louisiana Lottery's Lafayette office last week. The couple plans to pay bills with their winnings.
Menard purchased her winning scratch-off from EZ Quick Stop on West Canal Street in Church Point. $100,000 Winfall is a $5 game that features 15 chances to win on each ticket. The game has two top prizes remaining as of today.
Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. The Lottery encourages anyone who may have a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll free 1-877-770-7867 for help. For security purposes, the Lottery also suggests that players sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
